Leona Cullen, just turned 11 years old, and nicknamed Bunny by her coach and friends, is currently 3 times consecutive advanced British National Champion and has built up a good competition history so far.  Leona joined BTS in 2014 and trains up to 4 times a week with her coach Joe Brown in Southampton.  Leona was very proud when she became a black belt in April this year and is preparing for her 2nd Poom in 2018.

"I love Taekwondo because I’ve made loads of new friends and I get to go to lots of competitions all over the world” says Leona.

BTS Principal Coach, Joe Brown, added “our Bunny has been doing exceptionally well and is a top performer in her cohort, she is a really happy kid and always smiling at the side of the ring whether she wins or loses, it’s a great trait to have such positivity at her age. I’m sure we are going to have impressive results at competitions as she moves into the Cadet category and we will continue having fun whatever happens!”
